According to Gazzetta di Modena (via The Metro,) the Reds are looking into the signing of Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi.
The Reds are fresh from a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at the weekend and we think that with a few more signings in the coming weeks we’ve got a real chance of winning the title.
We’ve only got to go away to Man City of all our title rivals now and the signing of Berardi would, in our opinion, be superb.
The Italian striker has been in fine form for Sassuolo in recent seasons with them easily one of the stories of Italian football for the way they have rocketed up the divisions.
He’s been out with a knee injury for a large part of this season but is back now and has seven goals from eight appearances in all competitions so far so he certainly looks like quite the prospect.
