According to Sky Sports Italia (via HITC,) the Reds are keen on signing Juventus’ young star Francesco Cassata.
The report claims the Reds have been monitoring Cassata for some time this season and have liked what they’ve seen from the teenage starlet.
Gianluca Di Marzio, meanwhile, is claiming the Reds are even ready to make a bid for the youngster, thought to be around €10 million (£8.7 million,) and so he could become our latest signing under Jurgen Klopp.
Seeing young stars linked with the Reds is always exciting with Klopp around as we know what he can do to turn them into fully-established players at the top level.
The midfielder is currently on loan with Ascoli in Serie B where he has made 19 appearances and contributed a goal and two assists so far to their cause.
It remains to be seen now, then, whether Juventus decide to let him go or now.
