AFCON 2017 is underway and our Sadio Mane has already got off to a fine start – as you might expect.
The Senegalese international is the only player from the Reds at the tournament but he’s also one of our key stars so, naturally, we’re going to miss him.
Even so, it’s good to see him in decent form at the tournament with him grabbing a goal in his nation’s opening game against Tunisia as they won 2-0.
The tournament, given that it’s being held in January, also allows the opportunity for the Reds to take a look at potential new recruits and given Mane’s allegiances – we should be looking at Senegal.
Certainly, they’ve got other top stars as well as Mane to look at and we reckon these two could be big hits for the Reds…
