Yes, it really did happen – the Reds lost at home to Swansea City at Anfield yesterday afternoon, putting our title chances onto almost non-existent ice.
After getting a point at Old Trafford against Manchester United last time out the Reds could have really kicked on into the rest of the season with plenty of home games to come.
This was the moment where we should have underlined our title credentials but all we’ve done is see them fall apart at the seams and so now you get the feeling we just need to finish in the top four for the season.
It seems quite doom and gloom, admittedly, but no-one watching that game can say we’ve a good chance of winning the league.
We learned plenty about the Reds as usual, though, and none of it, unfortunately, is good…
