It’s come to light recently, thanks to his comments to Canal+ (via The Daily Mail,) that Alexandre Lacazette wants to move away from Lyon in the summer.
The French forward has been in superlative form for a number of years now and at the age of 25-years-old is approaching his prime.
He’s been in lethal form again for Lyon this time out with over 20 goals to his name already and now it appears that he wants to take his game to the next level.
He said:
“I think that the right moment has arrived to leave.
“I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person.”
The Reds have not been linked with the forward of late but with Daniel Sturridge seemingly out of Jurgen Klopp’s plans and Roberto Firmino not really and out-and-out forward there must be a case for us to be interested.
