Shevchenko’s partner in crime at Dynamo Kiev and touted as the man to send Spurs hurtling towards European football in the early noughties. I’m sure many fans in White Hart Lane were a little sceptical when the club shelled out £11 million for the Ukraine striker and they were right to be as Rebrov failed to hit the net on a consistent basis. Despite his work rate and a few odd moments of genuine class he never achieved all he could in North London and soon found himself warming the bench down the road at Upton Park.
