Tomas Brolin

Howard Wilkinson thought he had snapped up one of Sweden’s top players when he signed Thomas Brolin in 1995. His performances for Parma in Serie A brought him to the attentions of a number of clubs but Leeds won the race for his signature. Despite that he did show flashes of brilliance but they were in short supply and he soon found himself shipped out on loan for two years before Crystal Palace foolishly took him on.
