Kenwyne Jones

|

Sunderland’s demise in the past few years began when Jones made his £8million transfer to Stoke City in 2010, a move that has not favoured either party. Jones has found himself behind Peter Crouch, Cameron Jerome and Jonathan Walters at the Britannia Stadium’s strikeforce and the benchwarmer is now watching his career fly by without enough first team football. There is no chance that Stoke will receive anywhere near the fee that they paid for Jones when they finally decide to get rid and the tall striker must hope that is sooner rather than later.
