His goal scoring record might not be the best but for the number of games he plays and the lack of rhythm he is allowed to build up Pavlyuchenko has proved that he is a quality striker. His time at Spartak Moscow demonstrated his ability as an all round striker and he will need to move on if he is to resurrect something from a career that is facing difficult times.
