Now the Gunners skipper, Van Persie has shown just how talented he is being their shining light and one consistent player this season. If the Dutchman would’ve stayed fit for the last couple of seasons, he could have been the difference for Arsenal in the pursuit of trophies. Alas this was not to be, and how long Van Persie will stay at a club that may not even be playing Champions League football next year is anyone’s guess.
