Jermaine Pennant

|

Signed by Arsenal in 1998 after only a handful of games for Notts County, with Arsene Wenger seeing promise in the pacey winger, Pennant was destined for great things. However he never settled at Highbury with four loan spells in as many years. Eventually left to sign for Birmingham in 2005 despite his conviction for drink driving. They were relegated despite his good form prompting Liverpool to sign him in 2006. Yet again he disappointed and was farmed out to Real Zaragoza in 2009. He was on the move again a year later finally joining Stoke on loan in 2010 before signing permanently. Has started to show glimpses of his form from early on his career but nine clubs in 13 years has took it’s toll.
