Shaun Wright-Phillips

|

A great start to his career at Manchester City saw him break into the first team in 2001 and stayed their for four seasons showcasing his dynamic wing play and terrifying speed. Chelsea came calling with a £24 million move to Stamford Bridge allowing Wright Phillips to display his talents on the European scene. Unfortunately for him he was never a regular in West London and move back to City after three years. That didn’t work out well either as he become more of a bit part player in amongst the superstar names. Recently shipped out to QPR on loan for the season. Always performs when called upon for England but with David Beckham always in his way he never got the chance to stake a claim for the right sided berth. His dad will always fight his corner though…as the BBC have found out I’m sure.
