Dani Pacheco Match Report vs Bolton Wanderers

|

dani pacheco 21st Feb – Liverpool 2 – 0 Bolton Wanderers (Lancashire Senior Cup) – LFC TV once again made Dani Pacheco man of the match as the Reserves saw off Bolton. The Spanish midfielder had a quiet start to the first half but sprang into life by running past three defenders and shooting over the bar. Not long after, he set up the opening goal for David Amoo in the 41st minute and he showed great awareness and skill by providing the winger with a great ball, before the former Millwall youth player rounded the goalkeeper and slotted the ball home. There was still time from some magic from Pacheco before the interval and Bolton keeper Bogdan had to be at his best to prevent the young Spaniard from scoring after the player cut onto his right foot before unleashing a decent curling effort on goal. More good play from Pacheco followed in the second half and the Reds might have doubled their lead if the midfielder had given the right ball to substitute Nabil El Zhar after a great turn of speed in midfield. The best piece of play from the 18 year old no doubt came when he attempted to lob the keeper from the half way line on 50 minutes. His effort went just wide of the goal but it demonstrated his all round ability, vision and confidence to even consider the attempt. He then curled another shot which just went wide and Liverpool sealed the win on 84 minutes as Damien Plessis scored form a David Amoo cross.
