David Amoo Match Report Vs Bolton

1st Feb – Liverpool 2 – 0 Bolton Wanderers (Lancashire Senior Cup) – Amoo played well once again as Liverpool earned another victory. The first chance of the match came in the 16th minute as Jay Spearing found Amoo with a good pass, but he was edged out of the opportunity by a defender before the ball landed at the feet of Kacaniklic whose strike was parried by goalkeeper Adam Bogdan into the path of Amoo, who was adjudged to be in an offside position when he slotted the ball home. Amoo did get the first goal of the game though on 41minutes after a great piece of play by Dani Pacheco which spotted the winger’s run, and he rounded the goalkeeper to put the ball into the back of net. The 18 year old also played a part in the second goal as he crossed the ball for Damien Plessis to score six minutes from time to send the Merseysiders through.
