20th Oct – Liverpool 1 – 2 Lyon (Champions League) – An excellent performance at right back by Kelly, assured at the back, tackling with aplomb, but equally adept at going forward by putting in two fantastic deliveries for Fabio Aurelio and David Ngog who should have done better with their chances. Was unfortunately injured in the second half trying to prevent the Lyon equaliser and he picked up a groin injury which has kept him out for several months.
27th Aug – Liverpool 2 – 3 Blackburn Rovers (Reserve PL North game) – Replaced new signing Sotirios Kyrgiakos at half time during the match.
