pacheco v wolves26th Dec – Liverpool 2 – 0 Wolves (Premier League) – Made his Premier League debut on Boxing Day, coming on as an 84th minute substitute.

9th Dec – Liverpool 1 – 2 Fiorentina (Champions League) – Pacheco came on as a second half substitute to make his debut for the first team. He had some nice touches of the ball but couldn’t prevent the team losing 2-1 after conceding late on.

10th Nov – Liverpool 4 – 1 Hull City (Reserve PL North game) – Along with David Amoo, Pacheco was once again the pick of the bunch during the Reds’ convincing 4-1 victory over Hull. Already 2-0 up in 25 minutes, Pacheco hit a fierce shot from distance which Hull keeper Mark Oxley did well to save, but it was the second half in which the Spaniard really came to life. He provided the assist for the Reserves third goal as he made an excellent run to the byline to put in a fantastic cross for Eccleston to finish from close range in the 47th minute. Pacheco then once again shot from distance and was unlucky not to score as he hit the post from 25 yards out. He was not finished in the game though and put in another run and cross for David Amoo to put away his second of the game on the rebound after a superb save from keeper Oxley.

21st Oct – Liverpool 2 – 0 Sunderland (Reserve PL North game) – Another man of the match performance from Pacheco on Alberto Aquilani’s first appearance for Liverpool. Once again at the centre of Liverpool’s attacking play, the Spaniard scored and set up the other goal in a convincing 2-0 win over the Black Cats’ reserves at Prenton Park. After being involved in the build up to a chance for Nikola Saric in the first ten minutes, Pacheco saw his cross headed against the cross bar by Sunderland defender Nyron Nosworthy nearly resulting in an own goal, he then provided a telling ball for Nathan Eccleston whose low shot was saved by Sunderland keeper Marton Fulop. During injury time in the first half, Liverpool’s expansive attacking play got what it deserved and it came from the man who was critical to everything good coming from the Reds up to that point, Pacheco. He repeated his feat from the previous game against Burnley by scoring a free kick form 20 yards, sailing into the top corner of the goal. Liverpool continued on the front foot after the break and Pacheco provided the cross from a free kick for Robbie Threlfall to score a powerful header in off the post with only five minutes remaining, sealing a convincing win.

7th Oct – Liverpool 1 – 0 Burnley (Reserve PL North game) – Another good display by the 18 year old after sending Nathan Eccleston through on goal in the 25 minute of the match, an opportunity the striker failed to capitalize on, Pacheco scored a superb injury-time free-kick from 20 yards out to seal a tight 1-0 victory.

2nd Sept – Liverpool 3 – 1 Bolton Wanderers (Reserve PL North game) – The Reds won their first Reserve Premier League match of the season with a comfortable win over Bolton. Pacheco played well in the match having a rasping shot in the first half that went just past the post after good work from fellow Spaniard Gerardo Bruna to set up the chance. Pacheco also had a shot saved from Bolton goalkeeper Bogdan in the second half but fellow teammate Bruna stood out on the night after scoring the opening goal.

27th Aug – Liverpool 2 – 3 Blackburn Rovers (Reserve PL North game) – LFC TV man of the match performance from Pacheco. His first big contribution in the match was to provide a pass for striker Nathan Eccleston only for his chance to be smothered by Rovers goalkeeper Fielding. Fielding then denied Pacheco himself with a chipped effort on goal during the first half and just before the interval the Spanish midfielder provided a majestic piece of skill to create a chance for himself as he skipped past an opposition defender and shot wide of the goal. In the second 45, Pacheco was again at the heart of proceedings as he provided a killer pass for Nathan Eccleston to give the Reds a 2-1 lead. He also nearly assisted in extending the team’s lead after helping Gerardo Bruna to create a chance in which he put wide at the far post in the 67th minute. He could not prevent the team going down 3-2 however.
