Birmingham Preview: HAVE YOUR SAY

|

Alex McLeishIt looks as if Alberto Aquilani will still be sidelined for the Birmingham match at the weekend, and with Martin Kelly out to the end of the season, Fabio Aurelio and Martin Skrtel still sidelined, Rafa Benitez’s squad is getting worringly thin. In sharp contrast to the Reds, Birmingham have no real injury doubts for the match and Alex McLeish is excpected to name the same side that drew with Arsenal last week. St Andrews is a tough place for any visiting team to play this eason and the Blues have not lost a league match there since September. Other bad omens for Benitez are that he has never beaten Birmingham in seven previous attempts in the league, including the controversial 2-2 draw back in November, and the fact the fact the home team have taken points off the rest of the top five this season will be a worry. Rafa really needs a win at St Andrews to keep up Liverpool’s hopes of a fourth place finish. Will the team do it?  Have your say.
