With the World Cup looming on the horizon, you wouldn’t expect much to be coming out of Liverpool FC this week but alas, as usual with the Reds, there was no shortage of news. Former owner David Moores came out against the American owners, Tom Hicks stated that Rafa would have money to spend (yeah right Tom, pull the other one) while Torres avoided speaking about his future and Mourinho declared his admiration for Gerrard. There has also been a ton of transfer rumours linking Liverpool with players despite the lack of funds and this week on Live4Liverpool there has been a mixture of articles on prospective new players, old players as well taking stock about where the club is at.
