Is Torres on the verge of staying? A Left Back desperate for a move and who is Marcus Pedersen?: This week on live4Liverpool.com

|

The biggest news for Reds fans this week was of course the signing of Joe Cole. It came as a surprise to me as I’m sure it did for many other Liverpool fans, but it is very welcome news nonetheless. It probably also pushed Steven Gerrard to commit his future to the club making this a very positive week for any Reds fan. The blogs this week on live4Liverpool have reflected a variety of opinion on the news and other issues: new columnist Kevin Messam believes we are two signings away from keeping Fernando Torres in “2 signed, now two more to go,” Martyn Minker questions the transfer rumours about the players we are being linked with in “These rumoured transfers should concern any Reds fan” and Sean Mullan looks at who in the Reds squad has something to prove next season in ” 5 players with a point to prove .” Chris Severs says we should not to get over excited about the signing of Joe Cole in “The Liverpool fans are starving?”,  John Toher looks at whether Fernando Torres is staying in “Will Purslow convince him to stay,” while I have written on a number of subjects, reflecting on Arjen Robben’s comments that the Reds have one of the best front threes in Europe in “A reminder that this Reds team is not half bad” and I discuss Taye Taiwo in “A Good Left Back Desperately Looking For A Move?” Enjoy reading.
