As we gear up for the start of Liverpool’s Premier League season tomorrow, the week has again been full of speculation about the club takeover, prospective new signings and impending departures from the club. The arrival of Christian Poulsen at the club has been the biggest news above all the rumour however, and let’s hope he can settle in quickly and make a name for himself at Anfield. This week we again welcome more new writers in the guise of David Clare (article entitled “After more revelations,”) and Graham Freeman with his article on player fitness “Could this be the difference between 7th and the top 4?” I also thank again Chris Severs, Mark Wilson, Elliott Tunstall, Kevin Messam, Grayson Dowding, John Toher and Karl Matchett for their contributions this week.
