According to RMC in France, Liverpool are chasing Rennes full back Rod Fanni. The Reds’ Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli is said to have held talks with Rennes president Pierre Dreossi over a possible move for the full back to Anfield. French Ligue One leaders Marseille have also been said to be interested in the player  but have been put off by Rennes’ asking price for the player. 29 year old right back Fanni, who has also been linked with Everton and West Ham in the past, has played 103 league games since joining from Nice in 2007.
