TWO Players who will hopefully show Roy what they’re made of

|

In the quote on the first page though, it is clear to see a change of tact from Hodgson. Rather than an expectation of a performance, he is backing the youngsters no matter what happens, a policy far more wise than being highly critical of players who lack experience. The change in approach may well be that he feels less under pressure going into the Europa League. The Reds are top of Group K with 8 points with 2 games to go, and some good performances by the Reds second string, has obviously given Roy more confidence that they can go to Bucharest and perform.

I think every Liverpool fan would like to see Dani Pacheco and Danny Wilson get some game time. Both look talented young players but while the Scottish defender is expected to start in Romania, Pacheco will most probably have to settle for a place on the bench. Pacheco has certainly performed well in reserve matches in recent weeks and Roy has stated he has been impressed by the young Spaniard’s recent training performances. The attacking midfielder however has apparently become unsettled with the lack of game time this season however, with the promise of more first team action given to him by Roy in pre-season not coming to fruition.

Roy is learning about the youth players, as well as senior players, all the time and has seen that if they are given a little bit of faith like they were in Napoli, then you really can get some good performances out of them. He will expect Danny Wilson to make the same impact as Martin Kelly has had this season, and let’s hope that Dani Pacheco gets the chance to show Hodgson what he can do and prove how good he really is, so Roy will have no choice but to include him in future squads.

I think some of the younger guys can step up to the first team Wilson Pacheco & Babel. It depends which Babel turns up the pacey player who goes past opposition & hit rocket shots or the donkey who couldnt go past my gran (shes been dead for years) and couldnt hit a cow on the arse with a banjo!

    my line-up :-

    ——–Pepe Reina——-
    Kelly–Soto–Danny–Aurelio
    —–Poulsen–Jonjo——
    Babel————–Joe Cole
    —-Pacheco—Jovanovic—

4-4-2 Formation. I hope Roy will use this formation..

Need a fast winger for counter-attack and that’s what Babel for.

Jovanovic upfront. With his physical advantage, I think he can put pressure to the defender..

Pacheco got creative move and clean pass. He’s small but I think he need to look at Messi & learn from him.
