As England take on Denmark in an international match tonight, Liverpool fans will be interested to see how the likes of Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger perform. The last time these two teams met, Denmark ran out 4-1 winners in Copenhagen as England failed to perform on the night. With Glen Johnson improving his form dramatically under Kenny Dalglish, playing out of position as a left wing back, it will be interesting to see how he copes reverting to right back for tonight’s match. Certainly there can be no doubting his pedigree going forward and he still manages to excel in his forward runs on the left side for Liverpool, cutting inside to have a shot or crossing with his weaker left foot. At right back against Denmark he will certainly being getting forward whenever he can, and because he is playing in his more natural position, he will look to give the team some width on the right hand side and give Theo Walcott an overlap wherever possible to trouble the Danish backline.

On the other side for Liverpool, we have Daniel Agger and Christian Poulsen. Agger was superb in the three man defence for the Reds against Chelsea on Sunday and will be a thorn in England’s side tonight as he goes up against Darren Bent and Wayne Rooney. Agger has the class to give both players a torrid time and I wouldn’t be surprised if the pair have a quiet night if Agger is on the top of his game. With his tackling ability and excellent range of passing, he could also give you a few points in Picklive’s Big game or 5 minute matches tonight.

Poulsen could also provide you with a good pick. Although he has been a much maligned figure since his arrival from Juventus in the summer, his form has somewhat picked up under Kenny Dalglish.
