Comments from the Spaniard following his signing at Stamford Bridge have further angered the Anfield faithful, saying “I have moved up to a new level in Chelsea” and adding that he hopes to score against Liverpool on Sunday, saying that it is his “destiny”. Fernando Torres is the best striker in the world.Its been a privilege to see him at Liverpool.He terrorised the defences of ManU and Chelski and helped us hammer Real Madrid. He came to liverpool to win trophies and at that time we were regulars in the latter stages of the Champions League (still the biggest trophy). Since then we lost Alonso,Mascherano and Benitez and we are not in the champions league. I do not want to see Liverpool as just a team of tryers but a team with class players. So I am sorry Torres has gone-but I do not blame him and its best for all concerned. i am disgusted at the many fans who now hate what they once loved. Show some class and stop cursing and insulting him.Remember the good times.
i totally agree with you, but if a lot of people is furious with fernando is because he hasn’t tell a word about the fact that he was think about play for another team, to be honest the liverpool fans are the most friendly with their team and players in all the europe football, there are no other fans that you can see singing in last minutes of a lose game the imn and in italy or spain, a player like lucas or maxi could be probably crash by boooos…so wath i’m trying to say is that fernando has done a mystake because of his lack of respect for liverpool fans, no words and a team change that sounds to me like a run away in the shadow, liverpool fans doesn’t deserve this, i’m a fernando fan but i’m a little bit dissappointed

Guess what, my screensaver is no longer an image of Nando leaving a Real Madrid in the dust. It’s now a grinning picture of Luis Suarez seconds after his debut goal.
Please can we move on, we are in a far more promising position now. We’ve sold a 27 year old and got two promising 22/23 year olds who are hungry and a manager who knows how to put it all together.
Lets not forget, the reason we loved Nando so much was for some of the wonderful goals he scored and the passion in his play, after what happened over the last 18 months, I’m surprised he didn’t go sooner, however we got £50m and I’m hoping he’ll regret his decision to leave not only cos were on the up, but cos he will never feel the love he had with us, at Chavski. The first difficult spell he has with them, the “consumers” at his new club will be onto him, equally when the next big thing arrives on the scene, does he really think Abramovich or the chav fans will give a monkeys about him. The grass in not always greener, look at little Mickyy Owen, he’s almost been cursed since he left us.
