Why I would have taken FSG over a Sheikh Anyday

|

Liverpool on the other hand, for the first time in a long time, are showing signs that they are being run in the right manner and in compliance with UEFA’s ruling. Fenway Sports Group has rid Liverpool of all debt and it looks to build on its already impressive commercial revenue in order to have more to invest on players. This is how a club should be run. A big club such as Liverpool should be making the most of their Global appeal through commercial revenue. The club has also been guilty to often in the past in bringing in the wrong types of players for astronomical wages which they never seem to justify earning. Again FSG is doing the right things to rectify this and in Damien Comolli we may very well have found the answer.

Whilst also looking at the short term in bid to bring success back to the club as soon as possible, FSG are mainly concerned with the long term smooth running of the club. Keeping the club free from debt and making the most out of the academy is the right way to ensure that we the fans will have dreams and songs to sing form many many years. The same may not be said for City, so although it may not seem like it at the moment, it will become apparent in the future that we are better off with FSG rather than City’s owners.
