Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam will decide his future after coming back from holiday. Speaking ahead of Scotland’s Home Nations Cup match against Ireland on Sunday, he said:
“I just want to keep playing. Obviously the Premier League is the top of the tree and obviously I want to play there. For me the focus now is just on Sunday and I need to keep performing well. Once that is out of the way I’ll go on holiday and then take things after that.”
Despite Blackpool activating a 12 month extension to his contract, the Scot is still expected to leave the Tangarines, although the contract extension could increase the player’s asking price.
