Dutch Press: Reds miss out on Ajax starlet

Algemeen Dagblad is reporting that Ajax have fought off the overtures from Liverpool for their talented young midfielder Ricardo Kishna to stay in Amsterdam. According to the paper, the Reds had been in talks with the player’s representatives over a move to Merseyside, but Ajax have convinced the 16 year old that his career is best served staying in Holland for a little while longer. Kishna is expected to sign a new three year contract in the next few days.
