Gil Marin: It’s £39m or no deal

|

Atletico Madrid general manager Miguel Angel Gil Marin has stated that Sergio Aguero will not be joining Real Madrid. He said to El Larguero.

“He (Aguero) is not going to go to Real Madrid. I called (Real president) Florentino (Perez) to ask him if we could maintain this commitment to not being hostile and he agreed. Either a club, that is not Real Madrid, comes in and puts €45m (£39m) on the table or he stays at Atletico Madrid. We don’t want to negotiate with anyone.”

Gil Marin confirmed that the only contact they have had is with Juventus

“Atletico Madrid don’t have any offers, only a fax from Juventus saying they want to negotiate. It is a letter saying they are keen to negotiate, but Atletico don’t want to negotiate. We want a decision before 15th June because it is a decision that has huge implications on our sporting plan.”

This week it is former LFC WAG Amii Grove!

Andy Carroll is still a kid in a man’s body, he will batter defences for Liverpool, end of!!!. We need wingers a centre-back and a young striker learning his trade!!!….Aguero is not on the agenda at Anfield, get real we need other area’s covered. Yes he is class but be realistic with your comments?????

no brainer. Aguero and suarez up front- fits our pass and move ethos. Carroll has injury problems and we dont play as well when he comes on- although i am sure in time he will develop into a monster of a forward. Sometimes you have to pay over the odds for potential.

actually if it werent for rick parry we would have bought ronaldo and aguero from their original clubs and others- he didnt want to sanction the fees. Great moves

For those of you dishing Carroll, give him a bloody chance! The guy needs our support not pressure!

Would be a great signing that will add plenty to our attack, but fear it might jeopardize the amount available for other signings we need, i personally feel a decent LB and wingers are a priority for next season – as others have posted quality is needed not quantity. That said NESV statement was to win the title so maybe the dream is on.

this is a very good, pint, and am sorry i doubted him, but aguero would be a class signing! Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to quit smoking weed, get their head out the toilet and watch lfc play

I do agree with all of the ideas you have presented to your post. They’re really convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very quick for starters. May you please extend them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.
