3) Sell David Ngog. Ngog could have been part of the deal that bought Henderson to Liverpool but that was not mean to be. Sunderland however are still interested in the French striker and Liverpool have valued him at £8million. Whether we can get £8million for Ngog remains to be seen. But since he is young and has Premier League experience, I am sure someone will buy him.
4) Sell Alberto Aquilani. Aquilani is meant to be a Juventus player by now but the Italian club have refused to buy him following his loan spell there. They say that Liverpool are asking for too much for the player we bought from Roma for £17million. There is no way Liverpool will get anything close to that for Aquilani now and we will have to settle for less, maybe in the region of £8million.
If we are able to see just those four players, Liverpool will have £20million to add to the summer transfer kitty. It could possibly be more if we are able to offload Joe Cole and Milan Jovanovic. Both players could bring us in £4million each and at the same time we stop paying their extremely high wages.

we need buyers for them rejects to get money from they’re tranfers. I think the reason were considering selling Meireles is that hes the only player we will get a profit on then making a loss
we are considering selling raul merieles because he will not start next season and hes 28, last chance to sell for profit, coupled with the fact that he had his best goalscoring season ever last season and those goals all came within a month, he is over-rated. Appreciate his goalscoring patch and ability to run of the ball but anyone who thinks raul is a top player is naive, great move provided we can seal adam deal.

Firstly Meireles is ONLY 28 so he has a good 3 years, at least, left in him. We need some experience in the side. Look at how Arsenal falter every year because they don’t have that steel or maturity.. Plus he is an integral part of Portugal so also has international experience.
If Kenny wants pass and move, plus flair then Meireles is the player to give it to him.. Did you see his understanding with Suarez? Because, they come from that Latin mould..
Also we’ve been crying out for squad depth so to have him there interchanging with Adam or Henderson (although I’d definitely start him before these two) or perhaps even Lucas that would be brilliant (he does the job of holding midfielder for Portugal).
He was one of the top 3 players for the club last year.. If we sell him I’d be really upset..
According to Suarez 1 of the reasons he came to LFC is that we have alot of Spanish speaking players, atm it looks like we are replacing them with English players.
@Pilki i appreciate your opinion but Meireles is a top player and still has years left in him, we need a squad not just a first team to compete for cups and titles. That’s why Utd n Chavski are soo good they replace like for like players when making substitutes, that’s what we need so selling Meireles dosn’t make sense. If you have good squad players, it will help the team being less predictable so we can play different formations etc and we will be able to rest our big players for more important games which will mean less injuries.

id rather us make a loss selling other players than sell miereles to make profit. Fact is these extra players are sucking wages, burden on the dressing room and are sucking atmosphere with not getting games. good guesses on the players to be sold
Oh and I forgot to mention that Meireles has only had one season in the premiership and he was up to speed within 6 months (with the help of KK and Steve Clarke admittedly) He can only get better..
