Released Liverpool striker Nikola Saric is going to join Croatian side Hajduk Split on a free transfer. Saric was born in Bosnia but grew up in Denmark, where he joined Liverpool from Herfolge in 2009. Injuries have hampered his time on Merseyside though and he never played a first team match despite showing some promise. He had played for the reserves on a number of occasions but it was decided that he wouldn’t be offered a new contract this summer and was allowed to leave after his deal expired.
