Emiliano Insua’s agent Rodrigo Vilarino has told calciomercato.com that Roma are interested in the Liverpool left back:

“We have spoken to Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini. The situation at the moment is on stand-by. I don’t know how much he would cost, that all depends on Liverpool.”

Insua spent last season out on loan at Galatasaray and returned to pre-season training at Melwood this week.

This week it is former LFC WAG Abigail Clancy!

    Isn’t his contract up?

    • dj says:

he’s still under 23 so a fee will have to be paid.

i would keep him as a squad player. probably played a little to much in the last season with us because we had no other left back that was fit.

      he’sa good young player

Why do we have to sell Insua?
He fits perfectly into FSG policy and he will be a decent back up rather than using Johnson!

  • Dev says:

Insua shouldn’t be sold or loaned out.
He can be a decent squad player.

  • Shaun says:

he’s a better player than Konchesky. If he wasn’t loaned out we wouldve been better off!
