After signing a new long term contract at the club, right back John Flanagan is keen to keep on improving at Anfield, he told Liverpoolfc.tv:

“I just have to carry on, get back in the team and just keep producing. I could probably get involved more – get crosses in, and develop my forward play. I thanked Kenny and Damien for such a huge opportunity and I’m delighted. It’s been a change but I just take it in my stride and just carry on with it. It feels great signing autographs because it’s something I used to do when I was little. I used to get Stevie’s and Carragher’s.”

Flanagan also praised the Academy and his former U18 coach Rodolfo Borrell:

“He’s been great – he started me off at U18 level and he’s given me a chance, and here I am now, so I’d like to thank him as well. They give youngsters a chance at the Academy – it’s just dead good down there now.”

This week it is former LFC WAG Edita Hortova!
