Obviously the red side of Merseyside have got a decent amount of midfielders already, but now I solemnly believe that with Adam, Gerrard and possibly also Lucas or Meireles they finally have the distribution to the wingers they have been looking for and lacking for a long time. They also now have wingers with pace and the ability to actually hit a couple of decent crosses. Crosses which can and most certainly will, land on the head or at the feet belonging to what can potentially become Premier Leagues most dangerous striker combination; Suarez and Carroll.
So to answer the question above; no, Liverpool will not play with eight midfielders. They have had the luxurious advantage of not having to sell any players before bringing in new faces. This is, according to Dalglish however, not the case anymore. He told SkySports:
“We’re delighted with the work we’ve done, whether there is more to come remains to be seen and depends on players going out”.
It can quite easily look like Dalglish has every reason to be delighted with the work Liverpool have already done. If he can make the various combinations with the new signings work, I think the Merseyside club will be utterly entertaining to watch this upcoming season.

my high hopes have gone to low expectations, we have learned nothing pre season we have gained nothing, andy carroll might as well not be here we have no idea how to use him, most of those we have fielded up to now have no football brain – an essential for a top class player, they would struggle to open a can of beans never mind a good defence.
You spout some amount of negetive crap!! Stick with it and you might bring down the whole universe!!
i believe the pre season is really due to start in norway i believe this is to impress the owner but it sould have started in ernest weeks ago.
The up-coming game in Norway this week is the place to start assessing the future of the team. All other games have been more promotional than earnest. The time has arrived to begin to Chaff the yield!
