French Press: Reds Pursuing U17 World Cup Starlet?

Liverpool are said to be pursuing Ivory Coast striker Victorien Angban, according to France Football. The young striker starred for the Ivory Coast, alongside team mate Souleymane Coulibaly at the recent Under 17 World Cup. While Couilbaly scored a record number of nine goals during the tournament in Mexico, and joined Tottenham, the Reds will be hoping that Angban could have an equally bright future ahead of him. Angban currently plays for Stade d’Abidjan in the Ivory Coast.
