Swansea confirm interest in Reds Defender

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed the club are interested in Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala. He told Sky Sports News:

“(Manager) Brendan (Rodgers) has mentioned that we are looking at bringing one or two more signings. Yes, the defence is a part we are looking at. Whether that’s Daniel from Liverpool or another defender, no doubt Brendan over the next few days and before the transfer deadline will bring somebody in.”

Hull City have already agreed a fee for the Spanish centre back.
