For this reason, it would be better for someone like Andy Carroll to start from the bench, and to continue with the partnership of Dirk Kuyt and Luis Suarez up front. There could even be a start for Craig Bellamy if Kenny Dalglish wants to be very attacking, using Suarez, Kuyt and Bellamy in a front three which has pace and guile to trouble the backline.
The difference between last year when we went to the Britannia under Roy Hodgson when we capitulated, and now though, is that it is game we want to win rather than being afraid of losing. If we stand off Stoke, lose possession consistently and play a deep defensive line like we did last season, we will surely lose, and I am very confident that Kenny will go into this match looking to win and having a great deal of attacking intent, although being careful to ensure they are not too exposed at the back.
The pace of the likes of Downing, Enrique, Suarez and perhaps Bellamy if he is called upon, will be critical to victory tomorrow, and rather than just thinking about how to deal with Stoke’s style of play to prevent a loss, we must show our ambitions for a top four finish this season by taking the game to them.

Somewhat I agree with you but this time around I am optimistic with our chances to take all three points back to Anfield. The liverpool team now is much stable all over the field and look strong at the back as well as going forward. Suarez and Downing are going to cause all sort of problems for the Stoke defence and a win is the only result I expect. Also Henderson, Adam and Kuyt are all capably to score so as Agger from corners and set pieces. For the 1st time in two seasons now I will be comfortable watching this kind of game with full confidence of achieving a win.
We are playing 3.5.2 and going for it
