It certainly hasn’t been a great week on the pitch for Liverpool. Although we did beat Brighton in the Carling Cup mid week, the 4-0 defeat with nine men against Tottenham on Sunday has been a shock to the system, and hopefully a good result against Wolves today can put us back on the right track. Blogs this week have looked to assess why we lost Spurs so badly and what needs to be put right. Mark Wilson looks at one particular player who has impressed him this season in “Dalglish may find he can’t leave him out of the starting XI” and Elliott Tunstall looks at the aftermath of the Spurs defeat and what fixtures are to come for the Reds in “Two wins are vital, considering what comes next.” Many thanks to Mark Wilson and Elliott Tunstall for writing for the site this week. Have fun reading!
