1. Also known as King Kenny. A hero to not only Liverpool fans, but Scotland supporters. He has vast respect from many in football, from managers and players including Alan Hansen, Paul Lambert and even Malky Mackay. He had a massive goal-scoring career for Celtic scoring over 100 goals and also scoring over 100 goals for Liverpool – a record for Scottish and English league’s to this day. When people mention him, they talk about how he was an unselfish player and gave an accurate ball when a player was in space, always speaking highly of him. They way he handled the Hillsborough disaster was magnificent – comforting families and attending funerals. He witnessed the Old Firm match between Rangers and Celtic when sixty-six fans died, and also Heysel as a Liverpool player. What he has been through, as an individual is a great testament to his professionalism and character – a true hero of the 1980’s era. He is synonymous with LFC history. It is remarkable that he cost only £440,000 – imagine how much he would cost in this era!

Jimmy Areabi (Editor) - @fantasista1077: Huyton raised like Steven Gerrard, football has been my passion since the time I received a Kenny Dalglish badge as a toddler, and I've followed the Reds ever since – something that was easier during the 80s, when I worshipped John Barnes! I've produced work for many football media outlets & am now happy to run a major site on the club I love - providing our fans with a voice, and to bring as much information and news on the club as possible.
Having played football all my life, I aim to continue longer than Stanley Matthews...
