Like Ince, reports suggest that Liverpool have all but agreed a £12m fee with Chelsea for the England forward. His ability to play wide or centrally in a front three seems tailor made for Brendan Rodgers’ system and his goal output has been relatively impressive at Chelsea (24 in 93) despite his limited opportunities. Doubts regarding his attitude are well known but Liverpool and Rodgers seem willing to take the risk on a player with undoubted potential.
