2012 has been another turbulent year for Liverpool, on and off the pitch.
A trophy in the cabinet and an FA Cup final appearance weren’t enough to save the job of legendary manager Kenny Dalglish, who paid the price for an 8th place finish in the Premier League and was dismissed in May.
Since then we’ve had a new manager, a fly-on-the-wall TV documentary, a shortage of strikers and our worst league start for many years to contend with.
As such, an eventful year draws to a close, and it’s probably fair to say that there are a number of candidates – people, personalities and all-round footballing Gods – that are in the frame for the top ten LFC-related turkeys of 2012. Here we select and profile the best ones.
As ever, there’s bound to be plenty of debate and differing opinions – it’s all part of the game after all….Merry Christmas everyone!
