BORUSSIA Dortmund have denied having an interest in Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen, reports The Express.
The Danish midfielder has been heavily linked with Liverpool as well as the Bundelsiga giants, but Dortmund insist they are not interested in Eriksen.
Eriksen had been tipped to join the Champions League finalists to fill the role left by the departing Mario Gotze, who is moving to Bayern Munich. But Dortmund Sporting Director Michael Zorc spoke out about Eriksen, stating his surprise at the rumours:
“I have read [the Eriksen rumours] with amazement,” Zorc told Dortmund paper Ruhr Nachrichten.
Eriksen would cost the Reds £15million – the same price they received for selling Andy Carroll to West Ham earlier this week. The midfielder is only 21-years-old, and has been tipped as potentially being a long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard, who turned 33 this year.
The Dane scored 10 goals for Ajax this season in the Eredivisie, as he won his third consecutive league title with the Amsterdam club, as well as scoring in Denmark’s recent 2-1 victory over Georgia.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be carefully monitoring Eriksen’s situation with Dortmund, with rumours suggesting Tottenham are also interested in signing the youngster, who scored against Manchester City in this season’s Champions League.

And with Carroll’s £16M that would mean Rodgers would have £81M to spend , plus the £30M owners need to give him that would make it £111M to spend.

Lurtz, Capel is a class and quality wnger with genuine pace, skill, trickery, holds width and gets at full backs regularly.
How could you say Capel is sh* when we have Assaidi Borini and Downing and he is better than all the three of them put together.
He would show us fans more class and quality in 3-5 games than Assaidi, Borini and Downing have ever done since they Joined the club.

Suarez is the third best player in the world at moment on current form, so If Neymar cost Barcelona £61M and Real Madrid have offered over £65M for Bale, then our club should not accept no lower than £65M.

Munian is 20 and if club brought him in with Alberto for £22m for the combined both, we would have 3 spanish magicians and one brazilian battling it out for the AM position/ Role in first team. Our club have been out of champions league for five years now and currently compete with Everton, Fulham, West brom and Stoke for a top 6 – 11 position for the last five years. Am i lying?
We have had abyzmal squads for the last five seasons with no real quality, class or depth in it, Just a big squad with not alot of class or quality? This is killing me having to say this next question:
Do you think its a coincidence Man United have dominated the premiership for last two decades? And they were our closest rivals in past, do you think its coincidence the great Liverpool teams in the 80’s that dominated the league had a quality squad year in year out.
Its facts, not fiction, not fantasy. Our club has a much weaker squad than the two Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham. And that has been the case for the last five seasons and All those teams will all be strengthening considerably this summer to stay ahead of competition and to keep competing with one another. We are no longer a threat to the top 5
Our club cannot do a Man City and bring in two players worth £50m without champions league football. But we can and should be bringing in more class, quality players with points to prove between the £7-£15M.
Your funny, About 3 years ago i was saying Liverpool should go for Coutinho, Navas and Capel and fools like you were saying crap back on every forum i said it on. Yet we have now got Coutinho and he is awesome and will be in the brazil team soon permanently.
Navas has now joined Man City and will hurt any full back in the world one vs one if he is fully fit and injury free and now we are linked with Capel, if you watched football and played it like me, You’d know that Capel and Navas both played at Seville together three years ago and where the two players who always terrorised Barcelona and Real Madrid and the best sides in spain whenever they came up against them.
Just like G Mccallister recently said for our club to ever get back challenging Manchester United for the title year in year out i dont think his estimation of £200M is what is needed but definately £110-£140M is needed.
Apart from Agger, Coutinho, Enrique, Gerrard, Johnson, Reina, Skrtel, Sturridge and Suarez what other players in the clubs 25 man squad would get in any of the 6 sides that finished above us. And what real class quality competition do those 9 players have at club to keep them on their toes and not incomplacent week in week out?
We have 4 world class players and 5 class quality players in a squad of 25. so basically 1/3 of the squad and you don’t think we need huge surgery to side.
I am honest realist stew, the players i have mentioned would all strengthen the squad. The players i all mentioned would bring more class quality competition for places to squad and more depth as the only places we are quite strong at moment is at right back: Johnson, Kelly and Wisdom good quality competition for places and we are average in centre midfield: Allen, Gerrard, Henderson and Shelvey.
Everywhere else is pathetically weak for class, quality competition for places.
Its not about playing Fifa at all, its about bringing in the right players who will change dimension of squad and bring more class, quality, quality competion to the club.
Stew, D Ba will be shown the door this summer by Chelsea. D Ba would offer the club more class and quality than Borini and Carroll ever have showed club and he will be sold for relatively cheap. He would offer something different than Aspas and Sturridge.
D Ba is a player who causes Big Tough Hard men centre backs problems and would be a good squad player.
