Coutinho has been named Liverpool’s best player for Dec
After a very mixed month of displays and results, one of the few bright points has been the form of Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and, probably rightly so, he has been named the Standard Chartered Player of the Month for December.
His stand out performances came against Arsenal in the 2-2 and the 4-1 home win over Swansea but Coutinho has probably been the best Reds player for the past month. Speaking following receiving the monthly award, Coutinho said “I want to keep improving every game to help the team as much as I can. I’m always keen to improve and do my best to help Liverpool.”
With Daniel Sturridge on his way back to fitness and the possibility of one or two signings in the January transfer window, we may yet see the little magician hit even greater heights.

he deserves more than that, this few months he was outstanding and I grade him (coutinho) in the likes of isco, santi cazorla and iniesta touches
Agree. and I don’t think he gets enough credit for such a young player.
I was arguing with some Chelsea fans who raved that there is no current Liverpool player who can get into the Chelsea team.
I maintained that coutinho is better than Oscar and can perform even better when playing alongside cesc and hazard.

he deserves it, and for me I think coutinho is our best player for the season even as the season hasn’t gotten to an end.
