Martin-Skrtel-Liverpool

Skrtel looks set to play at the heart of the Reds defence once again

GK/Defence

Simon Mignolet – Simon retains his place and following a more confident looking display against Sunderland last weekend, let’s hope he kicks on from there.

Emre Can – Why change a working defence? You don’t and Rodgers should stick with the current back three for the foreseeable future, even if that includes a central midfielder.

Martin Skrtel – Probably the main beneficiary of the current back three is Martin, who’s return to form has been much welcomed.

Mamadou Sakho – To the disappointment of many fans, Sakho had found himself put in the cold for months but through necessity he has returned and has begun showing the sort of class that had LFC pay almost £20 million for the defender. Another no-brainer to start today.

It’s a joke ballotelli can’t get a head of borini or even on the bench . To get the best out of ballotelli he needs to play ? If your not going to play him BR sell him and let him continue his career .
