Player ratings: LIVERPOOL 1-2 Man Utd

Simon MignoletGoalkeeper/Defence

Simon Mignolet – Whilst looking a little shaky early on, he recovered to organise his defence well. Kudos for the penalty save – there would’ve been nothing worse than Rooney putting the cherry on top for United. Rating – 7

This should also include a rating on BR, which should be 1 and i am being generous. I had been keeping quiet for a while as many of his fans as usual was singing his praise pre-maturely, just because we had a few unbeaten games.

Well as usual and just as predicted, BR had been exposed, again. For those who care more about this loser than the club (you should rename yourself as BR fans instead of LFC fans), please remember who had put us through that dismal run in the first half of he season. If you are at the bottom, the only way is up of course.

Another thing about BR is, against more established teams/managers, he had been shown for exactly what he is, an egoistical, inexperienced loser. Yesterday’s game for example, it was clear that Can and Moreno was having a torrid time. A good and decisive manager would make a change in the first 20 to 30 mins, remember this is not something unusual, Mourinho did this. As usual BR dithers.

Our American owners across the pond must really sit down and evaluate is BR really the man that can bring the club forward. Clearly, we are digressing, even after taking into account the loss of Suarez and we are talking about the loss of only 1 player, no matter how good he is. It is time we give someone else such as Rafa a shot a taking over this project, at least we know for sure just like LVG or JM, he is NOT allergic to success like BR.

    Chan….
Please grow up – Rafa is not coming back. BR does have some learning to do but this team are a bunch of young men and they are still learning how to play like grown men. And this nonsense of Suarez only being 1 player lost is unreal. He is world class, losing him would be a loss on any team. Just root and hope for the best….
