They will never walk alone

Today marks the 26th anniversary of the day 96 of our fellow supporters went to a game and didn’t come home.

It will be a day of remembrance and memorial, and we should all take some time today to think of those that lost their lives on 15th April 1989 at Hillsborough.

There will be a memorial service at Anfield today, where Liverpool Football Club will bring together players, former players, managers and fans to honour the 96 and the families they left behind, while the campaign for justice for the 96 goes on.

For full details of how to follow the service via LFC, check the official website, click here.

I'm a 32 year old Liverpool fan, living in the heart of the City Centre. I've supported the club since the day I was born and have been writing articles for L4L for over 3 years, writing close over 350 articles in that time. My favorite player of the past generation is Sami Hyypia.

I am the current editor for L4L, with my day job being in R&D for the NHS.
