Rodgers to keep his job at LFC?

In the past 20 minutes, Sky Sports have reported that their ‘sources’ have indicated that Liverpool will review the current situation at Liverpool, including the performance of the team but are not considering sacking Brendan Rodgers.

It’s a move that’s likely to greatly anger many fans who are now largely behind the idea that Rodgers 3 years in the job have not seen enough improvement and that the time has come to replace him.

The team suffered it’s worst defeat in decades against Stoke City yesterday, in a match that appeared to confirm that the players had lost faith in the manager, and Rodgers himself looked broken and beaten following the 6-1 defeat.

However, if true, it appears that Liverpool plan to struggle on with Rodgers at the helm. It will certainly be an interesting few weeks, as fans are likely to make their feelings heard more loudly if it seems that the Ulsterman is to remain in charge.

Is keeping Rodgers the way to go, or are FSG making a mistake, if Sky Sports’ claims are true? For now, there are so many conflicting reports that it’s best to take all with a pinch of salt until some official line from a more reliable source, or the club itself, comes out. Let us know your thoughts below.

Rodgers knows only attacking football so when his team is not scoring you are sure to lose the game. We must bring on diego simeone from ath.madrid. he has been able to clinch a title with real and barça thereabout. He is a complete manager. He will do well for liverpool.YNWA

The man was a mid table manager with one good season at swansea, sacked by reading and Watford, and given one of the biggest jobs in world football.

He has a very average season in the first year, second season , Suarez makes him look good despite his inability to manage game flow, no plan be and 1 tactic throughout the season. Bottled it in the end where it mattered.

This season, he has been found out for what he really is. The man is a fraudster at this level. It doesn’t help that the echo, Sky, and every journo in the land sees him favourably due to him being one of the few british managers in the PL. The one eyed prince in the land of the blind.

He was given all the opportunities to make it. Everyone , everyone knew he was a gamble. All he had to do is be humble, work hard, critical of his own decisions , choose the right back room staf to challange him to keep improving…..but then there was last season, everyone, You David, talk sport, the echo made him more and more deluded. He started to think he can walk on water. 2 weeks ago, after the most dreadful season 150% sure he has a job!!! The arrogance is JUST wow.

For the sake of all connected to the club, he must be fired. His authority after the last 8 weeks has evaporated , if there ever was any. There’s a reason why senior players were pushed through the door. The first ones to see though his incompetence .

The owners must act in the best interest of this club. Please, admit your mistakes FSG, and let this BR go and find his level. Tim Sherwood’s level is where he’s at.

He is wasting lfc fund another 3 years he will spent totally 500m which lfc can build a new stadium. Sucks. Trophy less if he still around. Disgrace….

The least they can do, is ask him to compile a 180 page dossier, detailing how did he manage to completely fail domestically , another 509 page dossier to map what his gonna do to fix it.

The same must be asked with regards to winning in Europe 🙂

Its as simple as this. Brendan Rodgers is a pathetic manager to think he deserves another chance at LFC. He has ruined the club, he doesn’t know what to do anymore. Just look at stoke thrashing LFC by 6goals to 1 and actually scoring 5goals in the first half on Gerrard’s last match for the club. Gerrard must be glad he’s leaving the club, sterling too. LFC can now be compared with westham where a club like crystal palace can come to defeat and leave. Just look at these pathetic recruitments we have made, i mean lallana?, markovic? Oh no! And the terrible rest. This si what you get when you an inexperience manager LFC, go Rodgers GO
