As if he hasn’t won enough club awards already, Philippe Coutinho has just gone and claimed another Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for November.

The little magician has spent the best part of the past few weeks on the treatment table but was instrumental in everything Liverpool did that was positive in November.

And with him likely to be much closer to full fitness this weekend, the award probably couldn’t have come at a better time to give Coutinho a real boost ahead of the weekend’s game.

Coutinho only featured in 2 of the team’s games throughout November but impressed enormously when he played.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com after receiving the award, Coutinho said: “It’s very satisfying because it’s voted for by our fans and that means a lot to us. It motivates us even more to play well, to win games and to do it for the fans.

“I’d like to thank them. It’s always very nice to receive these awards and I hope we can continue in the same vein and win games for our fans.”

The star man should be in better condition come the weekend too, after a rare week of full training between games and expressed his excitement at getting back to playing and training at Melwood.

He told the club website: “I’m training and I’m available for selection. It’s the best thing, because to be out injured is very difficult – it’s awful.

“Of course, we love playing football and when we’re available for selection, it’s the best thing. I’m feeling good and I hope I can help the team out in the best possible way.”

The 23 year old got off to a brilliant start to the season but struggled during the final months of Brendan Rodgers’ tenure, only picking up during the past month under Klopp and his availability for the first team will be a huge boost to the squad ahead of the Christmas run-in.
