As the season reaches its climax, the news Liverpool fans didn’t want to hear was that the in-form Mamadou Sakho is now at the centre of an investigation, after he recently tested positive for a banned substance and now faces a lengthy ban.
The situation here now leaves Liverpool short of one of the club’s current first-choice centre backs and Jurgen Klopp must now look at potential short-term replacements, particularly with some massive games coming up this Thursday and next week.
