Inter Milan centre back Jeison Murillo is being tracked by Liverpool, according to the Corriere Dello Sport. The Italian newspaper also reports that Leicester City and Russian club Zenit St Petersburg are in the hunt for the 23 year old.
The Colombian international only joined from Granada for €8million last summer but the Italian club is set to undergo a clear out of players this summer as Roberto Mancini’s side attempt to improve on their fourth place finish this campaign and break into the Champions League places next season.
The newspaper does suggest however that Murillo would not be keen on a move to Premier League champions Leicester and would prefer a switch to one of England’s more established footballing powerhouses, suggesting Anfield may well be a more likely destination for the player.
Central defender Murillo has played regularly for Inter this season with 35 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazurri.
