Palermo are interested in Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal, according to calciomercato.com. Liverpool, AC Milan and Inter Milan have been linked with the player in the last few months and with Palermo finishing just outside the relegation this season in 16th place, they are looking at improving their attacking line for next season.

Boufal has been in good form this campaign and has scored 11 goals and provided 4 assists in 29 league games for Lille in Ligue One. Strong with the ball at his feet, he usually plays from the left hand side, and he could be a replacement for Franco Vazquez who is leaving Palermo this summer.

The link to Liverpool goes back several months but most recently, France Football revealed that the Moroccan international was the subject of interest from both the Reds and Tottenham with a £15million (€20m) price tag mooted for the 22 year old. Both the player and Lille’s manager have said in recent weeks that the player will leave the club in the summer.
